As a part time professional fitness instructor, I may not be an expert in tennis, but I know how rewarding it is to be able to work in a field you love. Especially when you have a career in a field that includes some sort of athletic exercise, you will feel good doing your job physically, and therefore, mentally as well. I have some good advice for you about how to excel in the field of tennis coaching or instructing. There are a few tips to know and certain steps not to be ignored if you really want to do the very best you can possibly do. The better you are, the more people will notice.

If you are serious about tennis—you must focus on nothing but the game. You want to do your very best, but even someone with the greatest talent and skill can be unfortunately effected by painful tennis shoes. When your tennis apparel is not right, you are often distracted from your concentration on the game. This takes away from your potential and can then lower your confidence.

Therefore, you want to be sure you have tennis shoes from the very best manufacturers, and in the highest quality condition. This way you will not have to worry about your shoes getting in the way of your success. Often, the most popular and most expensive merchandise is best—but sometimes you can find higher quality tennis shoes from sources you never knew about before.

You do not have to be certified in tennis instructing in order to get a job as a tennis coach or teacher. However, it is certainly not a bad idea. If you are teaching at a smaller institution, or perhaps only random lessons here and there, you may think of getting an official certification for instructing tennis. Especially if you aspire to coach or teach in the future and want to land the best job and achieve the most success possible – consider the possibility that you can further your career with a piece of paper. Many of the more elite clubs pride themselves in having all certified staff members, so sometimes to get the best job – you may have to take those extra steps.

No doubt about it: “Tennis Raquets tell a lot about the skills and the playing style of a tennis player.”
Every player wants to feel comfortable with a racket and this feeling starts already before he has held it in his hand the first time.

That`s what a friend of mine stated when four of us were sitting in our tennis club recently while we watched the players on the court.
He recognized soon, the rest of us were astonished by his statement.

“What are you talking about?”, I asked him. (He is a well respected player that has more than twenty years of experience and usually doesn’t tell nonsense.)

Play as much as possible, whether you are a tennis player who strives to be a competitive professional, or whether you aspire to be a great tennis instructor and / or tennis coach. Many people who are serious about the sport either attend or instruct for intensive tennis camps. Often these camps are available for all ages, from young players to professional competitors in the sport during off-season in order to stay in shape, improve technique, to practice an active maintenance of his or her skill.
